OxyGeneo Facial

Duration: 45-60 minutes · Ayurvedic Aesthetics

Overview

The OxyGeneo facial is a three-in-one treatment that exfoliates, infuses active nutrients and oxygenates the skin from within. A capsule and gel react on the skin surface to produce fine carbon-dioxide bubbles; the body responds by sending oxygen-rich blood to the area (the natural Bohr effect), while the skin is gently exfoliated and infused with actives such as hyaluronic acid, vitamins and peptides.

At ACTYMED it is used as a gentle, hydrating glow facial suitable for most skin types, including sensitive skin, with no downtime. It is a comfort-and-radiance treatment – excellent for hydration, dullness and a refreshed look, rather than a medical treatment for scarring or deep pigmentation.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is it performed?

The skin is cleansed, then the OxyGeneo handpiece is worked over the face in three phases – exfoliation, oxygenation and nutrient infusion – followed by a suitable mask or serum. It is comfortable, takes around 45 to 60 minutes and has no downtime.

Which concerns does it help?

Dull, dehydrated or tired skin, uneven texture and fine lines, and a general lack of radiance. It suits most skin types, including sensitive skin.

How many sessions are needed?

A single session gives an immediate glow; a course spaced a few weeks apart gives a more sustained improvement in hydration and texture.

Who should avoid it?

Active skin infections or inflamed breakouts, open lesions, and very recently resurfaced skin. It is otherwise well tolerated.

Is it a medical treatment?

It is a cosmetic hydration-and-glow facial; the evidence is limited and largely experiential, so we present it honestly as a comfort and radiance treatment rather than a cure.
